October Breast Cancer Awareness Breakfast at Mosaic Altona

For two consecutive years, Run With Me Fitness Club in Altona has sponsored the Breast Cancer Research Breakfast at Mosaic Bar and Restaurant with 2 x FREE memberships to raffle in order to raise money for research. This year at Mosaic the breakfast was another HUGE success. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Local Sponsorships

Run With Me Fitness Club is proud to announce its launch of the Local Sponsorship program. Our gyms are located in suburbs that have extremely talented athletes and sporting teams and our mission is provide those excellent athletes with local recognition, a gym membership and direct access to some of Victoria and Australia's most renown coaches, testing facilities and medical teams. We'll be keeping you up to date with our 2011 male and female athletes, Rachel and Darcey, both from Altona & Point Cook. We encourage you to show your local support when we post their successful sporting journey on our facebook and website pages to keep you up to date.

A Run With Me Sponsorship will give me the opportunity to enhance my skills and improve on various fitness components, which could ultimately improve my chance of achieving my sporting dreams.

What are your Greatest Achievements?
Debut for the Altona City Soccer Club Seniors at the age of 15.
Being awarded the captaincy for the U16A's in 2011.
Running 11.70 seconds for the 100m sprint at Olympic Park in March, 2011. 

Who are your Role Models and why?
Cadel Evans: For his extreme perseverance and determination throughout the last few years of the Tour de France, especially after coming 2nd two years in a row and having many injuries and mechanical problems which made it harder for him to achieve his ultimate goal, winning the Tour de France.

What goal are you trying to achieve in the next 12 months?
My goal is to improve all aspects of my game, as well as earning my spot in the starting 11 for ACSC Seniors, and also making the state team for my sport. My goal is to also try out for the rep team.

What is your LIFETIME goal?
My lifetime goal is to become a successful professional soccer player in Europe. I would also like to pursue a career in osteopathy, physiotherapy or engineering.

Who are your Role Models and why?
My Parents have always taught me to appreciate everything and have supported me in all my sporting endeavours.

What goal are you trying to achieve in the next 12 months?
2012 London Olympics

What is your LIFETIME goal?
To have a long career playing for Australia.

What is your next major competition?
In September my WNBL team go to China to have 3 practice games against three Chinese teams as a part of our pre-season preparation.

Advice to other junior athletes training?
Just to keep training hard and having fun! It's usually the most disciplined rather than the most talented who make it to the top.
